What You’ll Need
Drill or Screwdriver
Wall plug or anchor (suitable for plasterboard – included)
Pencil
Level (optional, but helpful!)
Step 1: Mark your spot
Choose your position and lightly mark the wall. Use a level if you’re hanging multiple hooks in a row

Step 2: Insert the wall plug
Use a #2 Phillips Head screwdriver to pierce the plasterboard with the plug. You can also use a drill on low speed, but stop before it's flush.
Finish by hand so the plug sits flat.
Step 3: Screw in your wall hook
Gently screw the hook into the wall plug until it sits flat against the wall.
⚠️ Don’t overtighten — this can damage your plasterboard.
Hang it up
On 10mm plasterboard, the hook can hold up to 10kg with a plug. Leave at least 10cm between hooks, and don't overload them.
💡 Tip: Mark all your
hook positions first if you’re hanging several in a row — it helps keep them
level and evenly spaced.
PLEASE NOTE: Not all wall hooks have the back piece in
the centre. Make sure you line your hooks up visually if you have a wall hook
that is off-centre.

• The amount of weight our hooks can hold is related to the material into which the hook is installed.
• The timber hook uses a 10G screw embedded in timber dowel. When installed into a pre-drilled stud the hook can support up to 10kg.
• If installing directly into plasterboard the included wall plug can be used, however the weight is dependent on the strength of the plasterboard - this will be the possible point of failure not the hook itself.
• Only light items would be suggested for plasterboard installations (eg hats, light decorations etc).
• Our preferred recommendation method of installation is into a wall stud.
• Use common sense when deciding what to hang from your wall hook.
• Do NOT allow children to hang on to the wall hook.
• We do not recommend hanging items in reach of children, near sleep areas, above cots or change tables etc. to avoid possible injury.
