Installing your wall hooks is quick and easy — and for the
strongest hold, we always recommend fixing them directly into a wall stud.
What You’ll Need
- Drill
- 3mm
drill bit - Stud
finder - Pencil
- Level
(optional, but handy!)
Let’s Do It
Find the stud
Hooks installed into studs are the strongest and safest option. Use a stud finder to locate one, then mark and measure where you’d like your wall hook to go.
Drill the hole
Using a 3mm drill bit, drill a hole directly into the stud about 30mm deep.
Screw in your wall hook
Gently screw the hook into the hole by hand until it sits flat against the
wall.
⚠️ Don’t overtighten — this can damage your
plasterboard.
Hang it up
Once secured into a stud, your wall hook can hold up to 10kg.
Be sensible with what you hang and how close your hooks are spaced.
💡 Tip: Mark all your
hook positions first if you’re hanging several in a row — it helps keep them
level and evenly spaced.
PLEASE NOTE: Not all wall hooks have the back piece in
the centre. Make sure you line your hooks up visually if you have a wall hook
that is off-centre.
